Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Caloza app and website provided by AppGenz. By creating an account or using Caloza you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Caloza.

1. The service

Caloza is a calorie and nutrition tracking app with AI features, goal planning, fasting tools and related content. Features may change over time.

2. Not medical advice

Caloza provides general information and tracking tools. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. AI-generated nutrition values are estimates and can be wrong. See our Health Disclaimer. Always consult a qualified professional before changing your diet or exercise.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Caloza.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.

4. Subscriptions

  • Caloza Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks the full app. It may include a free trial.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, overload or attempt to disrupt the service;
  • upload content that is unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share;
  • use Caloza to promote disordered eating or self-harm;
  • abuse the AI features to generate harmful content or to bypass limits.

6. Your content

You own the data and photos you add. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display them to run Caloza for you, including sending them to our AI and infrastructure providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Our content

Caloza, its design, software, brand and content belong to AppGenz or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only as permitted by these Terms.

8. Third-party services

Caloza uses third-party services such as Firebase, AI and food-data providers, Apple and Google. Their own terms apply to their services.

9. Disclaimers

Caloza is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that nutrition data, estimates or goal projections are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppGenz is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Caloza. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Caloza at any time.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
